About Leoto

Leoto Podiatry Supplies has been established since 1994 with the prime objective of serving the podiatry and other caring professions in Southern Africa. Initially it was the initiative of two local podiatrists to import frequently used materials at a competitive price. It also served to make products and materials available to local professionals without them having to deal with the shipping and import issues for relatively specialist and low volume products.

Leoto is now run independently and professional advice is obtained from a leading podiatrist about current and new products as they become available.

Responding to customer requests, other overseas suppliers have been sourced and the company has gradually added a range of quality instruments, podiatry drills and other equipment to the products available.

A range of foot treatment creams, sprays, oils and tinctures are manufactured for us by a small, local pharmaceutical company and these products are exclusive to Leoto.

In addition to podiatrists, we also supply physiotherapists, orthotists, occupational therapists and professional nurses, as well as Provincial Government Health Departments and the only university in Southern Africa providing a recognised podiatry degree course.

Leoto has exhibited at the South African Podiatry Association Biannual Congress and drawn a great deal of interest from podiatrists old and new.

As a small niche business, serving a profession relatively small in numbers, the aim is always to provide high quality products and excellent service at a competitive price.
